This week is National Women’s Blood Pressure Awareness Week. Did you know that heart disease is the number one cause of death for women in the Untied States? One of the major risk factors for heart disease is hypertension (high blood pressure). The CDC estimates that nearly half of women who have hypertension do not have it under control.
